Drabble.
That smile showed weakness. That was what he was smiling about as he drove his daughter to work. Kelly had that coworker that wrote and that coworker wrote something about horses that completely sucked. The ending didn’t make sense. James laughed as he recalled the last conversation he had with him where that coworker claimed he was in some local writer’s group.
“Yeah, it’s kinda boring,” laughed his daughter. James smiled a second time and looked out his drivers-side window.
“The ending is a bit— obfuscated.” He said as his chin lifted upwards. Kelly watched her dad’s jaw muscles flex.
